The powerful structure of Meleto Castle rises on a gentle hill, in the heart of the Chianti Classico Region, a short distance from the border between the old republics of Florence and Siena.
Meleto Castle offers guests a dream holiday, either inside the Castle in bedrooms which have seen 800 years of history. Just a short walk through the herb garden to the panoramic swimming pool, which overlooks the Meleto vineyards and the Chianti hills.

The rooms are on the first floor of the castle, all with antique Tuscan brickwork floors, high ceilings and exposed beams.
*** Room Castello 1
A fine room with canopied double bed and an additional single bed. Set in the ancient 15 th century watchtower, a characteristic bathroom with tub. Access to the room is from the gallery overlooking the central courtyard. Minibar .
*** Room Castello 2 Twin bedroom with a fine view of the herb garden. May be used as suite with Room Castello 1 or 3 or Room Castello 5. Minibar.
*** Room Castello 3
A large room with two French canopied beds and a beautiful view of the herb garden. The bathroom with shower overlooks the internal courtyard. There is also a comfortable divan-bed should two extra places be required. Minibar .
*** Room Castello 4 Room with double bed and the possibility of adding a double divan-bed. Access is from a secret passage in the left tower by means of a characteristic spiral staircase. The bathroom with shower is set in the ancient tower. Minibar.
*** Room Castello 5
Overlooking the central courtyard, a large room with canopied double bed and an additional single bed. Bathroom with shower. From the large window there is a fine view of the Castle grounds and the surrounding countryside. Minibar.

The Canonica, or Priest's House, is just a few steps from out Reception Wine Lodge.
The 4 double rooms, all with brickwork flooring and large windows, are situated on the first floor. French windows opposite the entrance lead directly to the Wine Lodge lawn, the herb gardens and the swimming pool :
*** Room Canonica 100 : twin beds and private bathroom with shower, Sat TV, Minibar
*** Room Canonica 200 : double bed, private bathroom with shower, Sat TV, Minibar
*** Room Canonica 300 : double bed, private bathroom with shower, Sat TV, Minibar
*** Room & Suite Canonica 400 : a small apartment with double bedroom (possibility of extra bed), sitting room with divan-bed, small kitchenette and private bathroom with shower. Sat TV, Minibar.
The prices of all the B&B rooms in the Castle and the Canonica include breakfast in the old Farm kitchen on the first floor of the Castle where there is a great mediaeval fireplace.
