Gite et Chambres d'hotes sur le Lac Bracciano, Rome

Dolci Colline is a scenic estate of 6 hectares on Lake Bracciano, midway on the road between the villages of Trevignano Romano and Anguillara Sabazia, 35 km from Rome.

This wonderful position gives easy access to Rome and Viterbo, each about half an hour away, as well as the historic tourist spots of the Etruscan necropolises at Cerveteri and Tarquinia, and the archaeological park at Ostia Antica.

The sports-minded will enjoy the golf, tennis, riding, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.

Lovers of hydrotherapy and thermal baths can reach Stigliano or Terme dei Papi in Viterbo in about half an hour by car.

Or else in 5 minutes one can be relaxing in a Health Centre, with special prices for Dolci Colline guests.

Over the years the owners have moulded the park surrounding Dolci Colline, which is dotted with ancient olive trees, oaks, leccio trees, and numerous fruit trees. As the seasons change, flowering shrubs give way to flowering bushes and to many varieties of roses that receive personal loving care.

In a comfortable and private setting there is an attractive swimming pool and nearby, a gazebo-changing room, a small bar and comfortable chairs for sunbathing.

The owner’s villa is situated in a dominant position with a full 360 degree view from Bracciano lake to the surrounding gently rolling hills (hence the name “Dolci Colline”!), to the forest, and to the solitary Mt. Soratte which forms the start of the Apennine chain. In the villa itself throughout the year there is a Bed & Breakfast which is refined yet informal and offers a rich and healthy breakfast with local products and home made food.

At short distance from the villa, a country house “Holiday Home” has been renovated using period materials. It has all the comforts, it is finely furnished and it shares the same view as the villa, and the same tranquillity and privacy.
